Enjoy!

Hi t.w., the Zucchini Gratin was a big hit with the family...thanks for the recipe.

Terry, baked apples have a different taste and texture and not liked by all. Just think of them as "garnish", perhaps use fewer. Maple sugar is unique and can be hard to find, try Whole Foods market or something similar. Maple Syrup or honey would be good substitutes.Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08222420329889634269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6462683620753142789.post-483370768769826062007-10-12T15:11:00.000-04:002007-10-12T15:11:00.000-04:00Wow. I'm also thinking adding a coarsely chopped onion to the pan with the apples might even add an extra layer of flavor.

I'm not sure if I've ever seen maple sugar, though. If I can't find it, would maple syrup do? Regular sugar?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6462683620753142789.post-19118085124855304482007-10-09T21:41:00.000-04:002007-10-09T21:41:00.000-04:00So glad you tried the Zucchini Gratin. Now that we're in prime apple season, I'll definitely try this recipe.Lydia (The Perfect Pantry)https://www.blogger.com/profile/18005372315838352874noreply@blogger.com
